Giftware Association launches podcast to shine a podcast on Industry Experts – meet the Product-cast

The Giftware Association has launched a new podcast called the ‘Prod-Cast’ which will shine a spotlight on the experts in our industry, providing insight into all aspects of product from concept to retail and everything in between.

The Product-Cast, aka the Prod-Cast, is hosted by Alex Ryan – a marketing consultant and gift/product marketing expert. Alex will be interviewing our guests each week to find out more about them, their business and more importantly their products.

Of the new venture, Alex said “I am thrilled to be invited along on this adventure. I have a passion for both podcasting and our beloved gift industry, so this is an exciting and creative recipe for me. I can’t wait to meet the huge variety of talent and expertise that threads throughout every area of product design, supply and retail.”

The weekly Product-Cast will be a celebration of our thriving gift and home industry and the diversity and creativeness within it. Each week a new key player from retail or supply will be introduced for us to learn more about their role within the business, their insights into the industry and, of course, to talk about their entry or previous wins not Gift of the Year.

Sarah Ward, CEO of The Giftware Association said “We are so excited to be making this journey, and with an incredibly talented host in Alex Ryan. It’s another opportunity for our members and competition entrants to gain exposure for their products as well as unearthing a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible creativeness of our industry.”
