I know some you have not yet even finished your Christmas shopping but it’s important to note that in the land of PR- Valentines day is only just around the corner.
For those of you who have your Valentines image collections live on Press Loft with all your lovely Valentines inspired keywords and Press releases set up and ready to go- Great job, you deserve a little break and a gingerbread cookie to celebrate!
However if you are still a little behind, there is no need to panic, hopefully you are able to find a few moments to spare over the holiday season to start tackling your Valentines PR. The hardest part ( besides finding the time) is just to get started, so here are some fine examples to help get your juices flowing for your own collection.
-Try and theme your images to make them exciting for journalists. It can be as simple as a few love heart balloons in the background or a full red and pink bonanza. If you theme your images for the season, they will stand out more to journalists looking to write a Valentines feature or gift guide.
-If you are looking for a more subtle or universal look for your Valentines images, include a touch or red or pink. It may not be as exciting as a full staging but your images will still stand out for journalists looking to feature images for a Valentines gift collection.
– Even if you don’t intend on staging any Valentines themed images in your collection, this doesn’t mean that you will miss out on gaining Valentines PR. Remember to include Valentines themed keywords into any of your products that can be given as a gift for Valentines day or that match the theme by coincidence ( ie being the red, pink or that have kind messages written on them, heart prints or flowers..etc). By including the keywords you make sure that your images are at the top of journalists searches, making them more available to be found, downloaded and featured!
If relevant, some keywords you could add are: red, pink, love, hearts, gift for her, gift for him, romantic gifts, roses, bouquet, Valentines day gift, Valentines day present, St.Valentine or romance.
Hopefully this has got your creative juices flowing, we look forward seeing your Valentines images on site and journalists will be excited to get downloading!
