Mother’s Day PR Tips

This post is also available in: German

Although we may only be just getting over our Christmas and New Year food comas and coming to grips with it being 2021, monthly magazines are already working on their Mother’s Day issues.

Falling on March 14th, gift guides will be on the shelves weeks before hand, so NOW is the time to focus on securing that great press coverage for your brand.

Here are a few of our top pointers to ensure you don’t miss out on key Mother’s Day coverage this year:

1. IMAGES

Ensure your lovely gift images are uploaded to our image library ASAP.

Need a hand with the upload process? No problem! Just send them all over in one go here and we’ll take care of it.

1. IMAGES TIP

Make sure you have clean cut out images available for journalists! To make their shopping page, they need very clean images on a white background.

2. KEYWORDS

On your relevant gift-y items, remember to include keywords like mother’s day, gift, present, for her, mum, mother.

3. GUIDE

We highly recommend including prices with every single image, it makes it nice and simple for a journalist to feature you, especially if it’s last minute or for a specific “under £30” type feature.

4. PRESS RELEASE

Send a press release out within the next fortnight, showcasing your best product suggestions for Mother’s Day gift guides.

We hope these little pointers help! As always if we can assist with anything along the way just get in touch: info@pressloft.com
