Cottagecore has already been a popular trend this year, with anything from country inspired homeware to floral patterns, rattan furniture and light colours. Friluftsliv means “free air life,” and it signifies nature and experiencing the great outdoors. Friluftsliv is the nordic concept for going outdoors and being at one with nature. This trend is perfect for Spring/ Summer 2021 as we start to enjoy what our hometown has to offer outdoors more this year as we may be restricted from holidays abroad.  Anything from camping gear to entertainment in the garden will fit right into this trend. Gingham has been a popular trend amongst the fashion industry and has now made its way into interiors for Spring/Summer.The Gingham pattern is typically known for its striped, checked or plaid appearance. “Gingham” comes from the Malayan word genggang, or “striped.”.
